Finally.... the graduation
In Hawaii we traditionally give a lei when a person hits a major milestone. Though we now live in
Florida, as traditions go, I made 4 leis for my graduating nephews. 2 of the leis (pictured) are money leis, the other 2 are leis made of candy. I'll post more pictures tomorrow with the twins adorned with more leis (mostly money). We'll start the festivities with a family & friends BBQ then on to the graduation itself. Well gotta go for now, I need to start prepping for some of the yummy food I need to take to the BBQ.

The music was sooo loud!
After cooking and decorating all morning and into the late afternoon, we headed home to shower, change and take care of the animals. We were running late but the picture to the right was well worth it. I was hoping to catch the sunset but the clouds were rolling in along with the rain.
It all turned out perfect. The music was way to loud for my taste but the kids loved it. My nephew the DJ said there was only one volume. MM Hmm sure.. They also set up a video slide show of all the graduating seniors and ran it throughout the night. It was great. I hope you enjoyed the pictures of last night.
